Mother Mary (2026)

Former pop sensation Mother Mary (Anne Hathaway) stepped away from the music scene after an undisclosed accident that occurred on her last tour. But now she’s ready to launch a comeback, and she needs the perfect outfit to do it. With only three days to go, Mother Mary arrives on the doorstep of Sam Anselm (Michaela Coel), a successful fashion designer who used to be besties with Mother Mary and design her costumes, to plead her case. Despite Sam’s utter disdain for Mother Mary after their falling out those years ago, she feels a pull to help her former collaborator. Anne kicks off things in a very Taylor Swift/Sabrina Carpenter-inspired sparkly corset and thigh-high boots, and later is seen in a one-shouldered number with just a veiny heart covering one of her nipples. There’s also a vision of Anne walking to the stage, yanking off the covering of another corset, but for a film so focused on fashion, the best part is the one moment Anne is undressed. It may be a nightmare for Anne, but seeing her ass and right breast as she frantically gets out of a tub and slides across the floor is a dream come true for us!
