So now that Game of Thrones is over, HBO wants you to remember that they've got another series full of nudity that's currently between seasons, Westworld. You might not recognize the show, however, as it has changed dramatically since the second season came to a close nearly a year ago. Not to mention the fact that this trailer centers around a new character played by Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul.
Set to Pink Floyd's "Brain Damage," one might be fooled into thinking this is a new series for most of this trailer's running time, as there's not a whiff of Westworld until the closing seconds when Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores shows up. It's definitely an interesting concept, to see what this technologically advanced world looks like from another point of view beside the theme park. Whether or not it pays off remains to be seen.
The other bad news here is that Westworld won't be back on the air until 2020, which sounds far away still, but is actually a little more than six months away. Season one debuted in October 2016 and season two in April 2018, so there's really no telling when it will premiere. We've got some time, though.
