Have you ever wanted to go behind the scenes of the cutthroat world of daytime soap operas? Then have we got the star-studded early 90s flick for you! Soapdish (1991) is basically All About Eve for soap operas, with ambitious young starlet Lori Craven (Elisabeth Shue) using her cunning to try and usurp long time soap star Celeste Talbert (Sally Field) with the help of Celeste's rival Montana Moorehead (Cathy Moriarty) and producers Rose Schwartz (Whoopi Goldberg) and David Barnes (Robert Downey Jr.). They concoct a plan to bring Celeste's ex and former co-star Jeffrey Anderson (Kevin Kline) back to the series in order to facilitate a breakdown, but of course nothing is that simple and the sparks begin to fly in every possible direction. The late, great Carrie Fisher is also on hand for this flick to show off some amazing cleavage and whole lotta leg in her introductory scene!
