Debuting in 2019, Monarca is a Mexican series about a family that runs a successful tequila business, but has to deal with the constant corruption of life in Mexico, as well as all sorts of competitors coming to take their tequila crown. Throw in family members jockeying to run the company, and there's all sorts of spirited conflicts in this spirits business drama. Fausto Carranza (David Rencoret) is the head of a family whose Monarca brand of tequila has taken over the world, so much so that the family has branched out to make money in real estate, construction and hotels. The problem is, while Fausto has been a master of dealing with the drug cartels and the corrupt politicians, he's not in good health. Fausto had a heart attack, and knows the end is apporaching much faster than he'd like it to. His sons are sort of sketchy, so he thinks his daughter Ana Maria(Irene Azuela) is his best bet, except she lives in LA and isn't all that sure she wants the gig. Meanwhile, Fausto's two sons are really pissed off about being passed over. Often compared to HBO's Succession, this Netflix drama never gave us the skin a typical night of agave infused college girls did, but that's not to say there's nothing to make your worm squirm. At one point Irene takes off her top and looks at herself in the mirror. There is dried blood on her chest and white bra as she feels herself up. We wish we were doing that, too! We're not so lucky, but Daniela Schmidt is. She gets to play with those tits in a lesbian makeout scene. Fabiana Perzabal lays on her stomach on a massage table, totally naked. We don't get to see much, but we appreciate the tease! The only legit tit we get on the show comes when Sophie Gomez shows her butt and boobs while taking a shower with a special gentleman friend. Don't the writers of Monarca know the rule? One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, clothes on the floor!
