Land Raiders (1969)

The original inhabitants of the vast lands that spread between New York and Los Angeles really got screwed after the arrival of Christopher Columbus and the legions of Land Raiders (1969) that followed in the wake of his expedition. This Vietnam-era Western depicts murderous misdeeds of a horse-riding sociopath who leaves a swath of aboriginal and settler corpses across the Arizona desert while accumulating Indian scalps and blaming his deprecations on innocent but fierce Apaches. A false reprisal massacre of pastoral women and children asleep in their teepees, and the tomahawk slaughter of a future-farmers’ wagon train, are only the beginning in this tale of profit-motivated genocide.
