Hardware (1990) is a post-apocalyptic thriller with all the grit and gloom associated with the genre. But it also has a fair share of skin, thanks to the post-clothing performance by Stacey Travis. Her boyfriend discovers the severed head of a robot, which he brings back for Stacey's art project. Too bad the robot is alive and bloodthirsty. The boyfriend is part mechanical, too, with a robotic arm that he uses to goose Stacey in the shower before inserting his more organic material between her legs. He's not the only one interested in Stacey. There's a peeping tom who spies on her fully naked, though in infrared, while making obscene phone calls about popcorn and her bunghole. With a girl like Stacey even a desolate dystopia can hotwire anyone's hardware.
