It’s difficult to pigeonhole Anke Engelke since the comedian, actress, voice-over artist, and television host covers a lot of ground. Born Anke Fischer in Montréal, the Teutonic talent was reared in Cologne, Germany. As a youth, she performed in the school choir but soon graduated to professional gigs on radio, film, and television. Through the years, the boob tube babe played parts on several series (Pastewka, Ladykracher, Kommissarin Lucas) and hosted various shows (Anke Late Night, Die Wochenshow).
