Lynne Moody Nude

Detroit-born and Hollywood-famed, Lynne Moody was guaranteed stardom when she debuted in the blaxploitation classic Scream Blacula Scream (1973) as Denny. From there she became one of America's most respected black actresses, a gorgeous siren of '70s cinema and TV. Lynne got her first big break as series regular Tracy Curtis Taylor on the television series That’s My Mama, playing the part from 1974-1975. She then jumped to the big screen and showed off her hot-tub bod during the heist caper Las Vegas Lady (1975). The sordid made-for-TV movie Nightmare in Badham County (1976) features Lynne in a tight T-shirt, with the European film version including a body-double insert that makes for a flawless view. The classic mini-series Roots (1977), where the lovely Lynne took the part of Irene Harvey, added weight to the actress’s growing resume, and she followed that up with the film The Evil (1978) with Richard Crenna, before returning to Roots: The Next Generation (1979). She had one more notable big-screen appearance, as Lisa in Some Kind of Hero (1982) with Richard Pryor, but stuck with her most prominent source of success, television—where she appeared in more than 20 TV movies and 210 series episodes. She had leading roles as Polly Dawson in Soap in 1979-1980, in Hill Street Blues as Marty Nichols from 1982-1984, as Nurse Julie Williams from 1984-1985 in E/R (Elliott Gould not George Clooney), as Patricia Williams in Knots Landing from 1988-1990, in General Hospital as Florence Campbell from 2000-2002, and a recurring role as Principal Bryant in Class N Session in 2017 and its companion movie The Heights a Perfect Reunion (2020).
