Katya Wyeth isn’t related to American artist Andrew Wyeth, but she’s prettier than a picture. (Yes, Mr. Skin knows about museum art; he’s a cultured kind of guy (plus, there’s a lot of nudity in paintings)). Born in Rochford, Essex, England, as Catherine, her nickname and her bare body have both made it onto the big screen in multiple movies and TV shows throughout the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. While most of her projects were UK-based, she is very memorable to international audiences for riding Malcolm McDowell during one of his sex fantasies in Stanley Kubrick’s Oscar-nominated movie A Clockwork Orange (1971). She also went totally G-rated as Meg in Inspector Clouseau (1968) with Alan Arkin (her first movie appearance), and back to R territory in Staircase (1969) with Richard Burton and Rex Harrison. She became a scream queen, or the one creating the screams, as Countess Mircalla in the horror film Twins of Evil (1971) with Peter Cushing, one of her best-known parts on the silver screen. As Caroline in Straight on Till Morning (1972), Katya gave up the goods again, and repeated her bare-breasted performance as Carole in Confessions of a Window Cleaner(1974), and while playing Germaine in Barry McKenzie Holds His Own (1974). On the little screen, she’s known for the role of Jill in The Avengers in 1969, in a few different roles in Monty Python’s Flying Circus also in 1969, and for the regular role of Isle in Rogue’s Rock in 1976.
