Melanie Mayron Nude

Some people have a knack for being at the forefront in the march for social advancement, and tousle-head Melanie Mayron, as the neurotic struggling photographer Melissa Steadman on the boomer-angst ensemble television show thirtysomething, headed the line for molding and defining the expectations and acceptances of her generation. And of course she would be. Melanie started out ahead of the curve in the early 1970s as a cast member in a road show of the groundbreaking musical Godspell. She remained ahead of the curve by putting her own curves on view, first as Ginger the hitchhiker in Harry and Tonto (1974), and later as a single, struggling photographer in Girlfriends (1978). In both flicks, Melanie is a picture-perfect point of focus. The heft of her breasts is a pleasant surprise! This is what makes the title of her next skintillating credit, Itty Bitty Titty Committee (2007), so ironic. In this dramedy film, Melanie relaxes in a tub but unfortunately keeps her bubmarines submerged. Having spent more and more time behind the camera, directing projects like 10 Things I Hate About You, Mean Girls 2 (2011), The Fosters, Charmed, and Dynasty, Ms. Mayron has kept her acting career somewhat submerged as well. She has, however, appeared recently in the shows Lipstick Jungle, The Naked Brothers Band, Pretty Little Liars, and the appropriately-named Jane the Virgin. Melanie's by no means a screen nudity virgin, but since her last skin-showing was over FOUR decades ago, she might as well be called born-again.
