Karimah Westbrook Nude

Born on October 6, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois, the naughty knockout Karimah Westbrook first made us want to boogie opposite Julia Stiles in the MTV Films hit Save the Last Dance (2001). Karimah always knew that she wanted to be an actress. Growing up, the budding star was inspired by actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg. She fell in love with theater and went on to study at the Academy of Dramatic Arts. Karimah followed up her Save the Last Dance debut with the flick Random Acts of Violence (2002) and TV appearances on ER (2001) and Moesha (2001), but we truly turned on to Karimah’s greatness in director Mario Van Peebles’s movie meditation on his father, Baadasssss! (2003). In this acclaimed biopic, Karimah portrays "Ginnie," a major love interest of Melvin Van Peebles (played by son Mario) during the creation of his explosive Black cinema groundbreaker, Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song (1971). Karimah’s performance impressively conveys her character’s powerhouse nature in taking on the complicated, at times callously ambitious filmmaker — and she looks absolutely stunning in (and out of) psychedelic body paint. In Baadasssss, Karimah proves just how good she is all over. Some of Karimah's other onscreen credits include works such as Strong Medicine (2003), 10-8: Officers on Duty (2003), Knuckle Sandwich (2004), The Tenants (2005), American Fusion (2005), Without a Trace (2006), Truth Hall (2008), American Violet (2008), Mad Men (2010), The Rum Diary (2011), Masters of Sex (2014), and All-American (2018).
