Carol White Nude

Breasty British strawberry blonde Carol White might have been just another flesh-flashing footnote in the history of skinema if not for the sly insistence by director Steven Soderbergh that she be given proper reverence. However, she's always been properly revered by Mr. Skin. Compellingly curvaceous Carol is a ceaselessly shining, skinful light due to a disaffected strip to show flesh pillows and fuzz in the presence of a trio of thugs in The Squeeze (1977). In the larger view, this charming, chirping bird, who brought a bubbly, sophisticated sexiness to additional skin-flicks like I'll Never Forget What's 'is Name (1967) and The Man Who Had Power Over Women (1970), tempted lasting mainstream fame via her role as the unwitting but winning title lass who falls under the romantic spell of a series of small-time crooks in Ken Loach's criminal-classes case study Poor Cow (1967), which happens to contain Carol's first onscreen nudity. Unfortunately, her star burned out in a bad way. Carol continued to show skin in a number of increasingly-obscure movies while succumbing to drug addiction and alcoholism. She disappeared from the industry after 1982's Nutcracker, which is still liable to stimulate your nuts despite the tragic subtext. In 1991, nine years after her disappearance, Ms. White died under mysterious circumstances. Enter Oscar-grabber Soderbergh, who rightfully included archival footage of Carol from Poor Cow in his crime film The Limey (1999). That reignited her star--at least for a time. Many years have passed since then, but skin seekers are still lighting sparks (and shooting loads) to Carol's legacy.
