Maren Eggert, who attended the Otto-Falckenberg acting school in München, started her career with regular appearances at theaters in Bochum and Hamburg before having her cinematic debut in 1996’s successful satire Die Apothekerin opposite Katja Riemann and Jürgen Vogel. This is easily topped later in the movie during a flashback sequence that involves Maren having sex with her lucky co-star Bleibtreu.
