Mickey Jines was a film star long before she ever made a film. This stunning redhead had already been captured in plenty of amazing short loops showcasing her titanic tits. A lot of these have been preserved on video, and you can see why strippers like Mickey made Technicolor a real necessity. She made her proper film debut doing a Hawaiian snake dance as one of the doomed party girls in Ed Wood, Jr.’s Orgy of the Dead (1965)--which was really just another collection of strip acts with monsters in the mix. Mickey didn’t get to show her acting skills until The Secret Sex Lives of Romeo and Juliet (1968), where she improves on Shakespeare as a lusty Capulet who’s out to verily vuck everyone in Verona. She was a Method actress, too, happy to expose her fiery muff. Then it was a quick role in the X-rated (but relatively tame) crime film Precious Jewels (1969), and Mickey faded away as a true legend of burlesque.
