She may look like a strong force of wind could blow her over, but the naughty naturals of the lanky brunette Monica Gayle will knock you flat on your ass! After debuting in skin flicks like The Harem Bunch (1968) and The Stewardesses (1969), which saw her meditate fully nude, Monica starred in the notorious pseudo-Bergman nudie Strawberries Need Rain (1970). It's a dramatic piece about a woman that barters with Death to let her fulfill her fantasies before he takes her to the afterlife. While the one last day on earth trope is overdone, this is no Our Town, in fact for Monica it's straight to pound town with all three of her B's on display in a variety of sexy situations. She stripped down for Ed Wood Jr. in Take It Out in Trade (1970) and gave us serious wood as a dick pleasing dixieland delight in Southern Comforts (1971) before playing with a fully wooden, grown man version of Pinnochio as Gepetta in The Erotic Adventures of Pinnochio (1971). Unfortunately she never turned the fake boy into a fake man via a trip to pleasure island or subverted expectations by swallowing a sperm...whale. After a guest role on S.W.A.T., Monica went legit with a short stint on General Hospital—which, thankfully, was also the same year that she showed off her long lusciousness in Nashville Girl (1976). Between constantly dropping her towel, skinny dipping and taking showers with other young girls, she certainly wasn't the bashful girl. After playing Donna in a 1979 episode of Fantasy Island, Monica left showbiz immediately after and seemingly disappeared, with her only media mentions coming when Quentin Tarantino occasionally screens one of her old movies.
