Charlotte Nielsen landed a pretty heavy part for her first cinematic appearance in 1996’s Australian production Marquis de Sade opposite consummate hard-ass Nick Mancuso, but she has been pretty much engulfed in obscurity ever since. What a pity, seeing as her performance was as terrifying as it was sexy, in that weird, sadistic kind of way. As “Juliet,” Charlotte (along with the rest of the female cast) falls under the spell of The Dark Prince, who proceeds to beat the living daylights out of her, chain her up, and of course, have sex with her, all of which is presented in a rather frank manner.
