Hope is both a blessing and a mystery, no more so than as embodied by Hope Marie Carlton. Born "Hope Marie Rizzitano" on March 3, 1966, in Riverhead, New York, the young Hope started modeling when she was just thirteen years old. When Hope was all grown up, she earned the title of "Playmate of the Month" in the July 1985 issue of Playboy magazine. She went on to appear in several special edition publications, and eventually, those mams made their way into moving pictures. During the second half of the 1980s, Skin watchers were blessed with repeated sightings of the naturally-endowed Ms. Marie Carlton's hope chest, most particularly in three Andy Sidaris naked-chick spy flicks. Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987) bestowed the uplifting presence of Hope's boobs and buns; Savage Beach (1989) was soothed by the influence of Hope's heavenly on-highs; and Picasso Trigger (1989) transcended despair with a visitation from the ass of Hope. After featured spots on Baywatch (1990) and Married...With Children (1988), Hope was set for TV and boob tube immortality. She went on to appear in works such as Slumber Party Massacre III (1990), Quantum Leap (1990) Side Out (1990), The New Adam-12 (1990), Top of the Heap (1991), Round Numbers (1992), The Stand (1994), and Hotel Erotica (2003). But she turned down a recurring role on The Guiding Light (1952-2009) in favor of marriage. The mystery of why she has abandoned us will forever perplex Hope's legions of devotees.
