Sybil Darrow made her first notable appearance in 1997 with a part in the seldom-seen film Ten Benny, but a year later, when she landed a recurring role on the hit series NYPD Blue, her status as a bona fide star was forever cemented into the annals of entertainment history. Since her stint on the show, though, most of her movies have been lackluster at best, with turns in Show & Tell (1998), Freak Talks About Sex (1999), Body Shots (1999), and Nice Guys Sleep Alone (1999).
