Long hair and a long torso make up most of the physicality of the gorgeous Cathy Cliften, who lists only one role on her acting resume—but it’s a real beauty of a role. Cathy appears fully naked, as a human music player, the iBabe, in a fake commercial in Movie 43, released in 2013 (more on the flick in a second). She stands in the center of an all-white room with iPod-like controls embedded into her skin, somewhere between her raspberry-tipped breasts and her trimmed, reddish bush (the rug does match the drapes!), while a joyful group of everyday folks dance around her. In a second version of the commercial, her pretty kitty is criss-crossed with barbed wire and a giant “NO!” sign, while only two people get down to the grooves emanating from her. It’s a little strange, but then again, so is the whole movie. The premise is it’s a series of interconnected short films that a has-been producer pitches, the story lines getting more and more insane as he goes. You would think this is a total low-budget, B-movie farce, but really? It’s backed by a slew of famous people. The directors include Elizabeth Banks, Peter Farrelly, Brett Ratner, Griffin Dunne, and Bob Odenkirk, among others. The stars appearing in the film are even more impressive: Dennis Quaid, Common, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt, Emma Stone, Richard Gere, Kate Bosworth, Jason Sudeikis, Uma Thurman, Kristen Bell, and Halle Berry are just a few. And with all this star power behind it, you’d think it would be fabulous right? Wrong. So very wrong. The film was panned by multiple movie critics, and was the winner of Razzie Awards for Worst Picture, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay. At least the film had Cathy!
