Since her debut on the French Skinematic Scene in 1956’s Treize à table, Annie has appeared in over 130 French films and is still going strong. Of course, her prosperous career is due almost entirely to her unique beauty, inherent talent and, obviously, one Hell of an agent…If you haven’t caught Annie in such French classics as Le Rouge est mis, L’Amour est en jeu, Le Vice et la vertu or La Gifle, or any of her other scores of starring roles, then all is not lost. She’s actually made her way to The States a time or two for bit parts in films like The Dirty Game and All Night Long. However, for your hard-earned video-rental-buck, those particular pictures aren’t the ones to go to…Might we suggest instead a viewing of Annie’s turn in 1972’s Traitement de choc, which was released in English-language countries as “Doctor in the Nude.” Trust us, the title is quite apt. Although Annie was into her 40s at the time of the film’s production, she still looked quite stunning running about on a beach whilst completely naked with a bunch of other equally naked middle-aged French people.
