Any time of the year is a good time to watch Miranda July. The alternative calendar girl has worked as a performance artist (Love Diamond), author (The First Bad Man), actress (Portlandia), director (Getting Stronger Every Day), producer (Night Giant), editor (The Amateurist), screenwriter (Nest of Tens), and singer (Margie Ruskie Stops Time). In other words, the alluring overachiever is all that and a bag of chips — which may explain why she makes us lick our lips!
