Agata comes from a prominent family in Poland, with her father Jerzy Buzek serving as the Prime Minister of Poland from 1997-2001. Just a year after her father took office, a 22 year old Agata embarked on her acting career, landing roles in the films Love Me and Do Whatever You Want (1998) and La Ballata dei Lavavetri (1998). Agata worked steadily in the Polish film and television industry over the next two decades, racking up high profile roles on shows like Tatort and Glina, along with appearances in flicks like The Revenge (2002), Within the Whirlwind (2009), and Father, Son, and Holy Cow (2011)! Agata, who is fluent in German, French, and English, landed her first role in an English language film when she appeared opposite Jason Statham in the flick Redemption (2013). Agata continued to expand her presence in crossover hits throughout the 2010s, landing roles in films like The Innocents (2016), Claire Denis' High Life (2018), and the Isabelle Huppert starring fairy tale White as Snow (2019). Agata's nude debut came shortly after in another crossover hit, Sleep (2020), which earned rave reviews and featured a scene where Agata stripped completely nude and writhed around on the floor in a black void with three other similarly nude co-stars!
