Born in São Paolo, Brazil in 1976, Mariana Loureiro made only five films between 2001 and 2008, but she certainly made herself an unforgettable presence during that time. She started things off in the Golden Globe nominated film Behind the Sun (2001), and began working her way up, eventually landing the female lead role in the film Carmo, Hit the Road (2008), which was sadly her last film to date.
