Ultra Violet Nude

Born Isabelle Collin Dufresne in 1935 in Grenoble, France, Ultra Violet was a wealthy heiress raised, like a lot of other daughters of the European gentry, in a convent. When she moved to New York in the 1950s, she met famed surrealist Salvador Dali and, through him, Andy Warhol. It was after becoming one of Warhol’s Factory superstars that she took the name Ultra Violet. Her film career includes appearances in cult classics like I, a Man (1967), Simon, King of the Witches (1971), and The Telephone Book (1971). In 1970 Ultra Violet appeared as herself in Norman Mailer’s masterpiece of an ego trip Maidstone, where she showed off her ultra rack getting it on with one of the Black Power guys who are harassing Mailer.
