Dawn Danielle played one of the beach beauties in Russ Meyer’s premier film, The Immoral Mr. Teas (1959) and it was her only casting credit. Prior to this role she was also gaining momentum as a pinup model for men’s magazines, and this cameo in a movie that broke the barrier between underground sleaze cinema and mainstream movies seemed like an opportune moment to catapult Dawn into sex symbol stardom. In the film she removes her red bathing top and dives into the water for a bit of booby buoying. But after the movie Dawn looks to have disappeared without a trace. Some rumors said that she married an actor and stuntman and was content to stay at home and out of the modeling world. Either way, at least we’ll have her etched in cinematic history thanks to Russ.
