Born on February 25, 1944, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Kristina Holland always had the makings of a star. She was initially scouted by TV director Allen H. Miner in a San Francisco stage production of The Fantastiks. Thanks to Miner, Kristina scored a role on an episode of The Loner in 1965. Her career took off from there, and she was already making the sitcom rounds on such classic TV fare as Love, American Style (1972) when she landed her breakout role on The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1969). Lucky guy, that Bill Bixby, to work so closely with the wide-eyed, buxom brunette beauty. While still on the popular show, though, Kristina put her breast foot forward in the movie The Strawberry Statement (1970), and what a sweet statement it was. With its cinematic snapshot of the student college uprisings, it's jam packed with radical politics and even more extreme sex and violence, from blowjobs to Kristina's first and, sadly, only skin scene onscreen. After Courtship ended, Kristina worked mostly as a voiceover artist on such TV series as Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (1972) and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids (1969). By the late '70s, Kristina was all but through with the business of show, though she did resurface doing a voice on Byzantine: The Betrayal (1997). Sadly, it's been decades since Kristina has strutted her hot stuff on the big screen or boob tube. Don't be a stranger, Kristina; Mr. Skin would sure like to see how this hippie's hips look now.
