When a sizzling actress from Spain takes it upon herself to appear in a flick called Sex (2003), you know you’ve discovered a special someone. It’s hard to believe that Spanish fly girl Mercedes Ortega didn’t actually get naked in this particular film to make our skintacular ranks, there’s no doubt she’s muy especial. Mercedes flew the coop from Spain’s Canary Islands and soared into the entertainment industry as a writer, director, actress, producer -- even as a set dresser dating back to 1996. She was even cast in the comedy The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit (1998), based on a Ray Bradbury short story and co-starring Edward James Olmos and Joe Mantegna. But it wasn’t until Tatawo (2000), AKA Tattoo Bar, that she entered the halls of skindom. Playing inked-up sextress Simone, Ms. Ortega doesn’t need any salsa to spice things up -- not even on her taco, which she serves us with a smile, along with her rack of mam. And, oh, how Mercedes bends! Her impressive display of flexibility while butt-ass nekkid is enough to drive anyone to steer her wheel. No need to worry; her handling is superb. We can only hope that this multi-dimensional gem continues to shine.
