Born Virginia Ruth Egnor, but better known to men who love big-breasted blondes as Dagmar, her hourglass figure became the very definition of '50s sexuality. It was a time when big women with big curves ruled, and among those buxom beauties Dagmar was the Queen. Fame came when the director of Broadway Open House, a late-night-TV variety show on NBC, needed a tall blonde. The statuesque stunner fit the bill. She played the dumb blonde and audiences ate up her 42-23-39 figure. Besides working on such classic TV shows as The Milton Berle Show and getting her own series, Dagmar's Canteen, the West Virginian also sang a duet with Frank Sinatra.
