Asher and Whitney Siegel (Nathan Fielder and Emma Stone) are the wealthy stars of a new series on HGTV called Fliplanthropy, a house-flipping series that will supposedly bring jobs and eco-friendly homes to help the with rising unemployment and minority displacement due to gentrification in Española, New Mexico. Whitney is determined to prove that she’s nothing like her even wealthier parents (Corbin Bersen and Constance Shulman) and actually wants to help the less fortunate, but their good intentions are inadvertently sabotaged by the show’s director (Ben Safdie) who fakes the focus off philanthropy and frames the show around her and her husband’s unraveling marriage. Sadlly, the series is cursed with very little skin save for when the camera catches Whitney and Asher during a private moment in the bedroom where they’re joined by a vibrator, Emma’s pert nipples, and an invisible third named Steven. It seems to awkwardly get them both off, so who are we to judge?
