This just skin! Tantalizing trans actress Hari Nef, known for the series Transparent and as one of the Barbies in the 2023 blockbuster, has been announced as the star of an upcoming biopic about the legendary Candy Darling.
****
For those not in the know, Candy Darling was a trans member of the Warhol superstars, the eclectic group featured in many of the artist’s work. Candy appeared in Andy Warhol’s films Flesh (1968) and Women in Revolt (1971), the latter of which she’s spotted in a state of undress and flashes some serious panty.

Folks may also know her from the famous Lou Reed song “Walk On The Wild Side,” where he described her as never losing her head “even when she was giving head.” That’s a ringing endorsement if we’ve ever heard one!
It’s also not the only reason to suspect that this is about to be one spicy biopic! The film will be directed by trans artist Zackary Drucker and produced by John Cameron Mitchell, who Skin fans should recognize as the brains behind 2006’s Shortbus, which has some of the craziest real sex scenes of the last two decades.

So could this finally be our chance to see Hari Nef nude? It would kind of be wild if we didn’t!
