After Class (2019)

After Class (2019) is one of those comedy-drama hybrids that focuses on a professor in New York City whose reputation is on the line. He then turns to his family that he has been a little too busy over the years. He attempts to reconnect with them in the wake of his own personal scandal...that they definitely know about. Writer and director Daniel Schechter gives us this story that has an all-star indie cast which includes Justin Long, Fran Drescher, and Kate Berlant. Justin Long plays the creative writing professor who is accused of having "pressured" one of his students into sharing an intimate moment in her life with the entire class because they are writers and that's what writers do. This, however, backfired with the student feeling very uncomfortable and reporting him to higher-ups. His bosses ask him to take some time off to reassess his behavior as a teacher (and a human!). We watch him interact with his mom, sister, and dying grandmother as well as his foreign girlfriend who has a feisty attitude. Silvia Morigi plays Caterina, the foreign girlfriend, who looks absolutely scrumptious in her shirtless scene. Note: she is shirtless, but she is still wearing her bra. This curly-haired maven sits on the couch wearing only her rust-colored bra as she sips her mug and ignores the boyfriend pounding on her door. This works out for us because we get to check out her cleavage. We would really love to see Silvia Morigi After Class in a private session.
