We are fully in the age of an Anne Hathaway renaissance and I am SO eager to welcome it because this statuesque actress deserves our praise. Anne Hathaway is currently starring in The Idea of You which has been thought by many to be somewhat inspired by the romance between Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde. In this story, Anne plays an older famous woman who dates a young rising pop star.
But that's not all. The past year she also starred in the twisted dark comedy She Came to Me alongside Peter Dinklage and the psychosexual thriller Eileen. She's been busy making interesting choices. Long gone are her sweet Disney days or even her try-hard theater kid vibes that won her an Oscar (deservedly, honestly, no matter how much people wanted to dog on her for that). She is now embracing her new era and it is an era of doing whatever the hell she wants.
I absolutely love this for her.
I love it when stars enter this era. It is almost always when they are at their best. Feeling like they don't have to prove themselves anymore, they take risks and take on roles that simply excite them. I love seeing that all of these roles excite Anne! It makes me think that this big-eyed beauty is a little freak on the inside. I love the idea of that!
Her previous roles offered plenty of heat. It's not like Ms. Hathaway was always squeaky clean. In fact, the beautiful brunette has gone nude quite a few times! I adored her in 2005's Havoc in which her bare breasts wreaked havoc on the horniness of men across the country. She had a few undressing scenes in this film that were worthy of writing about in your Princess Diary.
She also showed off her juicy melons in Love and Other Drugs where her tall, hourglass figure was like a drug. Anne is back in a big way and I am hopeful for more nudity. I mean why not? What can't she do? She is clearly not a prude and it is reasonable to believe she would go nude again now that she is taking on wilder and more complicated roles. As her role choices become darker and more complex, so will her sexy scenes.
